Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is an internationally recognized programme developed at Oxford University that combines mindfulness practices with cognitive therapy principles. Through guided meditation, group discussions, and home practice, participants learn to relate differently to thoughts, feelings, and life's challenges.

For Whom

Adults (18+) who want to:

  • Learn mindfulness and meditation practices
  • Manage stress, anxiety, or low mood
  • Break free from patterns of overthinking and rumination
  • Develop greater emotional resilience
  • Cultivate self-compassion and present-moment awareness
  • Improve their relationship with themselves and others

Two programme options:

MBCT-D (MBCT for Depression): For individuals experiencing persistent depression, recurrent low mood, or those wanting to prevent depressive relapse. This programme has strong research evidence for reducing depression relapse risks.

  • Dr Sng Khai Imm (Kaiying) – Clinical Psychologist and MBCT Trained Teacher on the supervised teaching pathway with the Oxford Mindfulness Centre (UK)
  • Ms Cheng Ming Hui – Leadership coach and MBCT Trained Teacher

Testimonials from past participants

Many of us spend time ruminating about the past or worrying about the future. Mindfulness helps us pay attention to the present moment, becoming more aware of our thoughts, physical sensations, and emotions. Through regular practice, participants learn to respond more skillfully to life's challenges without falling into mind traps of overthinking or rumination. As you cultivate openness and compassion, you also begin to improve relationships—starting with yourself.
