Fees

Standard Session Fees

Our session fees are payable at time of service.

Clinical and Educational Psychologists: $220 per session

Counsellor: $180 per session

Additional charges apply for:

  • Sessions extending beyond scheduled time
  • School or home visits
  • Report writing and letters

For psychological assessments:

50% of the total assessment fee is required at the first testing session.

Reduced rates (from $100 per session) are available on a case-by-case basis for those experiencing financial difficulty.

  • Please request a reduced rate before your first session
  • Standard fees will apply unless a reduced rate has been discussed and agreed upon
  • Reduced rates may be reviewed if your circumstances change (e.g., changes in financial situation or session frequency)

Contact us to enquire about reduced rates.

Subsidised therapy also available for eligible clients.

Session Duration

Initial consultation: 60 minutes

Subsequent sessions: 50 minutes (unless otherwise agreed)

Punctuality:

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, your session will end at the originally scheduled time (we cannot extend the session as other clients may be scheduled immediately after). The full session fee remains payable. Please inform us as soon as possible if you will be running late.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation fee is 50% of the session rate.

Why we have a cancellation policy:

Our appointments are scheduled on an hourly basis. When an appointment is missed or cancelled at the last minute, it's unlikely we can reallocate the slot to another client. This means:

  • Your therapy progress may be delayed
  • Another client on our waitlist misses an opportunity for support
  • Your therapist experiences a loss of income

Emergencies and special circumstances:

We understand that genuine emergencies arise. We will waive the cancellation fee on a case-by-case basis when circumstances are beyond your control. Please inform us as soon as possible if you need to cancel and explain the reason.

Late cancellation fees are standard practice for appointment-based services. We believe this is a fair and reasonable policy that respects everyone's time. Thank you for your understanding!
